Over at my gig on Search Engine Watch, I’ve been blogging about Yahoo! SearchMonkey, an open source application for developers to be involved in the producing customized search results.

Users can browse the newly launched Yahoo! Search Gallery in order to choose applications to be featured in their search results.

Career-minded social networking site LinkedIn has announced that they’ve created a SearchMonkey app that is now available in the Gallery. Below is a sample of what a search result would look like if you enable the app.

If you are a LinkedIn member, your profile will not be presented in this format unless you’ve claimed a public profile URL.
